Lookup Washington County Inmate Records

Washington County inmate records are searched first through the county's official jail roster and recent intake report. A Washington County jail roster search covers people held at the local detention center, while state-sentenced prisoners, federal prisoners, and immigration detainees may require separate locators. To look up Washington County inmates online, use the sheriff's detainee roster for current custody, the intake report for recent bookings, and the records or FOI process for released detainee records.

Washington County Jail Roster Overview

The main Washington County inmate records tool is the official Detainee Alpha Roster. The county detention hub labels the same tool as the detailed detainee roster. It is free, no login was visible during research, and it opens as a sortable table rather than a blank name-search form. The roster inspected on May 28, 2026 showed a last-updated timestamp of 8:30 PM and 698 unique booking links in the rendered HTML.

The county publishes two companion data views. The three-day intake report is better for a new arrest or quick release because it shows recent booking rows and release times when displayed. The detainee charge list groups charge descriptions and custody categories, then lets users click into matching detainees. These tools should be used together instead of treating one page as the complete jail record.

The official roster screenshot from the manifest shows the Washington County detainee table and its sortable fields at the sheriff-hosted roster page.

This layout matters because the county roster works by scanning and sorting rows, not by entering wildcard searches into a form.

Use the Washington County Inmate Roster

A successful Washington County inmate records search starts with the likely custody stage. If the person is in the county jail now, use the detailed roster. If the arrest was within the last three days, also check intake. If the person was released, use the Records Department or sheriff FOI process. If the person was sentenced to state custody or listed as ADC committed, switch to the Arkansas Department of Corrections locator.

  1. Open the detailed detainee roster from the county detention page or go directly to the sheriff-hosted Detainee Alpha Roster.
  2. Check the page timestamp so the Washington County jail roster result is tied to a current update time.
  3. Sort or scan the Name Last, First column. Use age, race, sex, prior-booking count, intake time, and bond to separate similar names.
  4. Click View if the booking detail page opens in the browser. If it does not load, call Detention or Records rather than guessing.
  5. Open the three-day intake report when the person may have booked and released quickly.
  6. Use ADC, BOP, or ICE locators when the custody is state, federal, or immigration rather than local jail.

Washington County Roster Search Fields

The Washington County roster search fields are table controls. Column headers sort through the page's ASP.NET postback behavior, so copying a sorted URL may not preserve the sort for another user. The intake report uses similar fields but adds a Release column. The charge list is separate because it starts from charge descriptions and detainee counts.

Washington County Inmate Record Fields

The current roster list shows enough information to identify a likely detainee and decide which office to contact next. It is not a full historical booking file. Direct command-line inspection of sample detail URLs returned a Detainee Information shell with a VINELink prompt and No Records Found, so the list-page fields are the safe public fields to describe.

Washington County Jail Facilities

The two facility pages serve different user needs. The Washington County Detention Center is the local jail. The Northwest Arkansas Work Release Center is physically in Springdale but belongs to the Arkansas Department of Corrections. Do not use the county roster as the final locator for a state work-release inmate.

Booking Process in Washington County

A Washington County booking starts with an arrest, warrant, court commitment, or transfer to the Detention Center. Booking records identity, property, money, a booking number, charges or holds, and the intake timestamp that later appears on the roster or intake report. The jail does not publish a guaranteed update interval, so the visible page timestamp is the best timing marker.

Property and phone questions follow jail rules. Personal property can be released at the Detention Center with detainee authorization and photo ID. Detainees cannot receive incoming calls, but they can make outgoing collect calls from housing areas. Prescription glasses and medications must be pre-approved by medical staff before being brought in.

Washington County Visitation Rules

Washington County uses JailATM for lobby and remote video visitation reservations. One official page says visitation must be scheduled at least two days ahead and no more than nine days ahead. The FAQ says a minimum of 24 hours. Treat the conflict as a reason to schedule early and verify the current window in JailATM before travel.

Washington County Records Requests

If the Washington County inmate record is not online, use the records chain. Current jail questions go to Detention at (479) 444-5830. Released detainee records go to the Records Department at (479) 444-5785, Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The sheriff FOI page lists Records@WashCoSOAR.gov as an alternative FOIA contact for records not shown on the public roster.

VINELink is useful for custody-status notification when available. The county detail page language referenced a VineLink button, though live detail records did not render in command-line inspection. The official Washington County Sheriff (AR) app by Mobile 10-8 also advertises jail, recent arrests, inmate roster, warrants, most wanted, child-support warrants, and calls for service as mobile access points.
